Tasting : Light yellow color, brilliant and limpid. Fine nose with notes of apricot, toast and vanilla. Round, oily and fresh mouth at the same time, notes of candied fruits, honey, hazelnut, on an elegant woodiness.

Soil : Head of sandy loamy, gravel and clay-limestone hillsides.

Climat : semi-continental with Mediterranean influence.

Vines :  mass selection of Marsanne and Roussanne planted in 1936

Pruning : Guyot on sticks

Harvest : manual, crushed then pressed for 3 hours, followed by natural settling for 24 hours.

Vinification : 2 months low temperature, entirely in 228L barrels.

Ageing : 18 months in barrel on fine lees.

Yield : 25hl/ha

Natural alcoholic degree : 13.5%vol

Food and wine pairings:  Quail stuffed with foie gras, Duck breast with apricot, Lamb tagine.

Service temperature:
10 to 12°.
