The Domaine de la Montmalle located in Saint Montant (Ardèche) was bought by Francine Robin in 2005. When she arrived, the buildings of the estate looked like ruins and the vines were almost abandoned. Francine Robin, supported by her three daughters and friends, embarks on this magnificent adventure and brings the Montmalle estate back to life. Today, the estate's three hectares of old vines produce quality wines. Among them the cuvée "Tel qu'elle" of Carignan grape variety. For Francine Robin this wine is made as she is. His philosophy is to let the vines fully express their potential and their terroir through low yields and organic cultivation (no organic label but identical specifications). In vinification, the estate limits external inputs and allows the grapes to express themselves as naturally as possible. Their wines are fine, fruity with a good structure. They can be drunk in their first years but a little aging in the bottle would allow the wine to round out and gain a little more finesse. The "Tel Qu'elle" cuvée has been present at the Caveau La Beylesse since November. It is a warm wine that will awaken your taste buds for your end-of-year meals.
