Porous par excellence, they restore heat and humidity to the vines which are deeply rooted there. Viognier, our emblematic grape variety, draws its elegance and aromatic power from it.

Viognier Eglantier Ardèche

Tasting:

A beautiful bright straw yellow color. The nose is rich in fruit and flowers with a dominant of pear and apricot. A fresh and greedy mouth with a final on the liveliness.

Vinification:

The vineyard is located in southern Ardèche, in the municipalities of Valvignères, Montfleury and Vogüé.
The plots are carefully selected on clay-limestone soils and granite sandstone on hillsides and terraces on soils with low yields. The grapes are picked when ripe, during the coolest hours to preserve their liveliness. After gentle pressing, the wines are aged 50% on lees in vats and 50% in oak barrels for 12 months.
