Tasting:
Rich and structured organic wine. On the palate, this wine reveals a balanced bouquet of small black fruits (blackcurrant) and present tannins. This natural wine can be enjoyed today to take advantage of its vigor or after a few years to soften the tannins.
History:
Since 2007, Réjane and Wilfried Pouzoulas, brother and sister, perpetuate the family tradition transmitted since 1920. Attention, remarkable but confidential cuvée. This dark red 2006 with brilliant reflections, a classic blend of half Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, unfolds a balanced bouquet in which blackcurrant and roasted oak – twenty months in cask, but for the Syrah only – have found ground for agreement. It reveals a strong character in the mouth: body, length and present tannins. Everything you need for a stay of about two years in the cellar. When it comes out, prepare a tagine of lamb with prunes or lamb with honey and rosemary.
