Côtes-du-Ventoux Patrick Chêne
Former renowned journalist, Patrick Chêne and his wife Laurence, fell in love with wine, settled in the south of the Rhône Valley, in the Vaucluse. They created the Dambrun estate by taking over an 18th century Mas.
"A great bottle to keep in this exceptional vintage." The intensity of the fruit associated with the spicy finish makes it a great complete wine." (Le Guide des Vins Bettane & Desseauve 2019) The southern framework present in particular on the nose with these notes of black fruits and garrigue is without heaviness. Surprising, this powerful and elegant wine presents a velvety and balanced mouth ending in freshness on a menthol finish. A superb discovery for this Ventoux off the beaten track brilliantly produced by Patrick Chêne.
